Product Description
Type Modern minimalist designed fountain pen - very unusual
Product Name Big Revolution
Manufacturer and Year Parafernalia, Italy - circa 1990s - 2010s (?)
Length 5-1/8" closed up, and 5-5/8" with the fountain pen installed for writing. The very slender pen unit by itself is 4-9/16" long and about 1/4" in diameter.
Filling System Proprietary Cartridge ONLY. To access the pen, you pull it out from the cage/frame/skeleton, and reinsert it barrel end first. The cage gives you an ergonomic triangle for holding the pen, and you can adjust the pen so that the nib hits the paper at the angle you prefer. This pen did not come to us with a cartridge, but from our research online, it looks a LOT like the cartridge from a Sailor Chalana pen. That cartridge at least fits into the barrel, but we didn't fully insert it to see whether it fits. We will include a slim Sailor cartridge with the pen, but can't guarantee that it fits. There are a couple of online listings for cartridges specific to this pen (search "Parafernalia Big Revolution fountain pen cartridges" or replace Big Revolution with another early model from the brand, "Lady Austria").
Color Black anodized aluminum, with some silver colored screws and hardware.
Nib Fine or Medium steel nib.
Condition Excellent condition. There are a few small marks on the pen's body, but no serious scratches or chips. The original price tag is attached to the clip. This listing includes the pen and one Sailor Chalana cartridge ONLY.
