Product Description
Type Fountain pen with aerometric filing system
Product Name Parker 17 Deluxe. We believe this is the last version of the model 17, which had a lot of variations when it debuted in the 1960s. It's seems pretty entry-level to us, hardly "deluxe" but they probably ran out of modifiers.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, England, 1970s
Length 5-3/8
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler like the later Parker 51s and the Parker 21s.
Color Black with steel cap and clip.
Nib FINE steel hooded nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black very shiny pen with a glinty and shiny cap that is highly polished. The barrel is in fantastic condition. The cap has moderate microscratching that is visible to the naked eye. The clip has some tiny microscratches as does the top black jewel. The imprints are crisp.
