Product Description
Type Rollerball pen
Product Name Parker 180 Imperial. This was originally introduced as the "Imperial Floating Ball" in the 1978 Parker catalog, and wasn't included with the other 180 pens (fountain pen and ballpoint). We guess rollerballs were a big deal at the time! In the 1979 catalog, we see the 180 Imperials include fountain pen, ballpoint, and rollerball versions.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, France - 1978-79 (no date code).
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Parker Rollerball refills, one of which is installed. This pen can also take the old Parker Systemark "Super Soft Tip" felt tip refills which are no longer available.
Color Imperial - though not marked, it is 22k gold electroplated, with a converging lines pattern. Gold-plated arrow clip.
Condition Excellent condition. There is microscratching on the cap and barrel. The top of the cap near the clip has touches of light plating wear, as does the cone. The black coating on the section shows wear in spots.
