Product Description
Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen, working well.
Product Name Parker 45.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- They made these pens from about 1960 until 2007, however they changed the clip and clip screw style in 2001. This is the pre-2001 version.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Fountain pen takes Parker cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included squeeze converter.
Color Green body with flighter (brushed steel) cap, gold plated trim, an arrow clip, and a concave cap tassie. The green looks a little dark in person but photographs very dark. It's clearly green and not a green black in hand.
Nib Extra Fine Architect 14k nib is smooth with a little feedback on the horizontal stroke. Marked "X" on the pen section. It was ground by our in house nib tuner, Nivardo. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition, no personalization, or plating wear. There is some warping on the grip section (common with the Parker 45). No dents, scratches, or personalization. The plating looks really good. It's working well with a good converter.
