Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric in a hard to find color
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1951 (The date code is a 51 with no dots).
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. It has been tested and is working well.
Color Forest Green with gold filled "Custom" cap and a 1-1/2" long arrow clip. The cap has a converging lines pattern and is 1/10 12k gold filled. Pearlescent cap jewel. The green is very dark and is almost like a green black in hand.
Nib Factory stub nib, medium width. It is smooth and looks natural on the pen, so we do believe it is a factory nib grind. Not dramatic line variation. The tines don't make full contact with each other for slightly wetter writing. See the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The barrel and cap imprints are clear. The cap imprints are especially clear. The cap patterning is strongly delineated and there are no dents, major scratches, or plating wear. The pen is working well.
