Type Vintage aerometric filling fountain pen, working well.
Product Name Parker "51" Aerometric. The filling system is marked Parker 51 Special, but this pen has a Lustraloy cap with pearlescent cap jewel and a gold nib, which is not correct for a Special (though finding gold nibs on them is not rare).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA – made after 1952 (they stopped putting date codes on their pens in that year).
Length 5-7/16 inches.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We've tested it thoroughly and it's working very well. It's marked Parker "51" Special.
Color Black with a stainless steel "Lustraloy" cap, chrome plated trim, a short arrow clip, and a pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib FINE gold nib is in nice condition, firm and smooth with great tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. There's some very minor scratching on the cap and barrel, but nothing serious. The pen is working very well.
