Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Parker "51" .... "Fantasy" creation
Manufacturer and Year. Parker and Ariel Kullock - the pen was assembled using a combination of Parker new old stock parts and re-manufactured parts. The clip, nib, and filling system are all Parker-made, and probably the cap as well.
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We have tested it and it's working well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Dark purple swirled with black and a bit of gold sparkle, plus there's some sort of chevron patterning that shows up in bright sunlight (some of the lines wander a bit and don't quite meet at points and have a bit of curve...really, there's a lot going on here!). At first, we simply called this "black sparkle", but the more we look at it, the more we see! Lustraloy brushed steel cap and arrow clip. Pearlized jewels.
Nib Medium gold nib, smooth with good tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully designed pen in a mysterious, intriguing color. The section has long thin scratches from capping; the area around the nib has a lot of scratching, but no cracks. The gold tassie on the end has brassing; the end jewel looks great. The edge of the barrel where the tassie joins it is a bit uneven. There is scratching near the end of the barrel from posting the cap. The cap looks good, it's nice and smooth with no dents or dings. The clip and clip ring have brassing and some plating wear, and the cap jewel looks fantastic. There are no imprints.
