Product Description
Type Fountain pen with a built in squeeze "Aerometric" filling system.
Product Name Parker 51 Mark IIII (!), with imprints on both cap and converter confirming this. We're pretty sure the Mark 4 was only made for/in South America.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in Brazil – 1970s
Length Full size, 5-3/8".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. Fixed, not removable. We've tested it and it's working very well. The filling system is marked as made in Brazil.
Color "Flighter" -- Lustraloy body with matching cap, shiny silver colored clip, and black section.
Nib Medium steel nib. Firm and smooth.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a classic pen in an understated matte-finished silver colored cap and barrel. The section has some light scratching. There is a shallow dent in the cap, to the left of the clip. We've included a close-up shot of this area in the photos. The cap also has tiny scratches and scuffs scattered on the surface, plus a splotch or plating wear below the imprint (see photo below). The clip ring looks great. The imprints are clear. Comes in a Parker box.
