Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. The pencil takes .9mm leads. Mechanism is push and click.
Color The color is black. Fountain pen cap and pencil marked 1/10 12K GOLD FILLED. The caps have arrow clips and a pattern of converging lines. Pearlescent cap jewels. The pencil tip has 6 grooves.
Nib The gold nib is a medium (though finer than a modern medium point) and writes very nicely with great tipping material.
Condition This fountain pen set is in excellent condition. There is brassing on some of the pen's edges -- the ridge of the clip. There is one small scratch perpendicular to the converging lines on the cap. Otherwise there is some handwear on the cap but not much on the barrel. Lighter handwear on the pencil, with less brassing on the the clip. All imprints are clear and sharp. The pencil imprints are particularly crisp. There is some flaking on the metal of the lower portion of the aerometric filler that will not affect performance. Overall it is a handsome set.
