Type Vintage fountain pen with the aerometric filling system.
Product Name Parker "51" Special.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1950 (you can make out the 50 date code on the barrel).
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We've cleaned and tested it and it's working well.
Color Teal blue with Lustraloy steel cap, chrome plated trim, and black cap jewel.
Nib Extra-fine steel nib is smooth with lots of nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. There's one shiny line that goes around the whole cap in line with the point of contact between the clip ending and the cap. The chrome trim between the section and barrel has many scratches on it. (You can see an example of the scratches in the imprint photo.) No cracks or chips, dings or dents, no personalization. There's some small scratches and marks on the cap and barrel as well as handwear. There are some ink stained lines beneath the nib but they're not visible without a lens. No plating wear, though there's some light scratching on the trim. The imprint is legible. It's working very well.
