Type  Fountain pen

Product Name  Parker 51 Vacumatic

Manufacturer and Year  Parker - 1946 (clear imprint shows a 6)

Length  Fullsize Pen - 5 3/8

Filling System  piston/plunger (Vacumatic) ....restored with a new diaphragm

Color  Cedar blue body, steel cap. The texture on the cap is shiny, but it might have been brushed "Lustraloy" to begin with. Blue diamond gold filled clip (blue paint is good). Pearlescent cap jewel.

Nib  Nice and smooth writing fine gold nib. There's lots of iridium.

Condition  Very nice working example of the classic Parker 51 Vac. Signs of normal use and handwear, but otherwise in very good condition. Only a few light scratches on the body, and a good strong imprint. The cap has a few small shiny spots, and one very shallow dent.

We restored the filling system, so it should be good for 10 plus years.

Payment Policy: Paying via Credit Card or PayPal are the only methods allowed for addresses outside the United States. Customers from the United States also have the option of sending a check, money order or cashier's check. Payment method is selected during checkout.

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance. It is the responsibility of the customer to anticipate these costs and pay them when they are assessed by your country or postal system. We have heard that shipments valued at 50 EU or more get assessed fees in EU countries, for example.

UK customers please note: Packages valued at over $18 are subjected to both an administrative charge and a tax by UK customs and Royal Mail. Sorry, this is not something we can predict or pay in advance.
