Product Description
Type Restored vintage fountain pen
Product Name Parker 51 Vacumatic
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - 1947 (the .T.7 date code is clear)
Length Full size pen, 5-7/16"
Filling System piston/plunger (Vacumatic) filling system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working well.
Color Cordovan Brown body, sterling silver cap with a pearlescent jewel and a Blue Diamond clip.
Nib FINE gold nib is a little on the larger side, almost medium, smooth and quite firm with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. The sterling cap originally had a coating to the sterling which is a bit worn from handwear which is very common with these caps. There's just very light wear on the trim, a little on the edges of the clip and on the ring that surrounds the cap jewel. No dings or dents. There's minor scratching and wear on the barrel and section but the imprint is still mostly readable and there are no cracks or chips. No personalization. It has been fully restored and is working very well.
