Length Full length, 5-3/8"
Filling System Vacumatic plunger filling system. We've fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working very well.
Color Cedar Blue barrel with a 1/10 12k gold filled cap in a pattern of converging lines with the plain arrow (aka "Art Deco") clip and a pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib BROAD ITALIC 14k gold nib created by Greg Minuskin. He re-tipped a nib with a broken tine, and added a lot of gold and tipping material to get this fat nib. It's in perfect condition, very smooth. If you think of stubs and italics on the spectrum from buttery to crisp, this is toward the buttery end. Writing sample below. We measure the wide downstroke at around 1.0mm.
Condition Excellent condition, though there are some light marks of brassing on the lip of the cap (see photos), and one spot on the edge of the tassie-ring. There are some slight scratches and marks on the barrel and there's one tiny pinpoint indent in the cap. No cracks or chips, dents, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
