Color Stainless steel cap and barrel with gold plated trim. There is a thin gold-plated cap band, which indicates an earlier Deluxe. Black section.
Nib FINE 14k Parker nib. It's smooth and firm, with nice tipping.
Condition Near Mint condition in box with with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. We found no indications that the pen was ever inked. This is a lovely satiny pen in a classic design. The metal area above the section, nearest the nib, looks perfect, with no pitting or corrosion. The plastic section does have some scratches from the cap. The cap and barrel both look fantastic, with just some very light thin scratches visible under magnification. The gold clip looks great. The top gold tassie has some very light microscratching around the edges. The imprints are clear. Ships in Parker box.
