Product Name Parker 75 Insignia II. Insignia refers to the gold filled/plated grid pattern on the pen. The Insignia I is 14k gold filled while the Insignia II is 22k gold plated and the grid is deeper and more pronounced.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- circa 1979. There is a date code of NI on the cap band.
Length 5-1/16 inches.
Filling System Takes Parker style cartridges or a converter. A squeeze converter is installed.
Color This Insignia II design is the gold colored version of the Cisele. It is 14k gold-filled.
Nib BROAD 14K Parker nib, marked on the back of the feed. It's a French nib, so probably a replacement.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an elegant, beautifully design pen with nice weighting. The cap and barrel have light wear. The little squares are all nicely outlined and intact. The cap band looks great with just some light microscratching. The clip looks great. The black section looks excellent and the silver band at the top of it has only a few dots of pitting. The top and end tassies have a few dots of plating wear as well as moderate microscratching. The imprint is clear.
