Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name "Fantasy" Parker 51 Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock, Argentina. The pen was assembled by the Kullock team using a combination of Parker parts (cap, filling system, nib/feed) but we're not sure about the barrel. The cap started as a gold filled converging lines cap, made in England, which received a hammered "martele" treatment in Argentina.
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Aerometric filling system. Cleaned, tested, and working perfectly.
Color Black and yellow mottled ebonite section and barrel. 1/10 12k gold filled converging lines style cap has been hammered to create a very nice effect. Pearly lavender cap jewel.
Nib Fine gold nib. Very smooth with excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny fountain pen in a striking mottled ebonite with an ornamental cap that is unique. The section and barrel have light scratching. The cap has microscratching and a small area of brassing on the cap lip. The clip has plating wear on the arrow end. The beautiful pearly cap jewel looks like a modern replacement. The cap imprints are clear.
