Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name "Fantasy" Parker 51 Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock, Argentina. The pen was assembled by the Kullock team using a combination of Parker parts (cap, filling system, nib/feed) but we're not sure about the barrel. The cap started as a gold filled converging lines cap, made in England, which received a hammered "martele" treatment in Argentina.
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Aerometric filling system. Cleaned, tested, and working perfectly.
Color Black and yellow mottled ebonite section and barrel. 1/10 12k gold filled converging lines style cap has been hammered to create a very nice effect. Pearly lavender cap jewel is probably a reproduction.
Nib Medium gold nib. Very smooth with excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny fountain pen in a striking mottled ebonite with an ornamental cap that is unique. The section and barrel have light scratching. The cap has microscratching and several areas of brassing on the cap lip. The clip has plating wear on the arrow end. The beautiful pearly cap jewel looks like a modern replacement. The cap imprints are clear.
