Product Description
| Type | button fill fountain pen |
| Product Name | Duette Sr. (also referred to as one of the Thrift Time or Depression pens) ... to make it more confusing, the Canadian Senior pens were called Premier! The Senior is a little longer than the Junior and has a clip button that matches the pen color, whereas the Junior had a metal clip button. |
| Manufacturer and Year | Parker Canada, early 1930s |
| Length | 4-5/8" |
| Filling System | This pen is a button filler. We've restored it and it works well. We will guarantee the filling system for a year, but honestly, it should last a good deal longer. |
| Color | Some Parker references call this color "Mahogany and White" while on the Premier the same color was called "Red Onyx." |
| Nib | Marked "Parker Fountain Pen 4 Canada F" and it writes like a medium. There's a lot of tipping material, and really good flex. |
| Condition |
Excellent working condition with no cracks or deep scratches. The plating on this series was thin, so you'll see some wear. The permanite plastic is excellent with no discoloration or cracks. The imprint is worn but readable. The cap threading is such that it is easy to get the cap screwed on crookedly, but if you are careful it will find the threads and screw on properly. |
