Manufacturer and Year Parker, UK -- First generation of this model, starting in 1987. The ballpoint is marked with date code IIQ and the mechanical pencil is marked with date code IIIQ, both signifying 1990.

Filling System The fountain pen takes Parker cartridges or you can use a converter. A piston converter is installed. The ballpoint pen takes standard Parker ballpoint refills. A working red refill is installed. The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm leads. It has an eraser under the twist cap and extra leads in the receptacle.
Color Marbled Maroon with 23k Gold Trim. The fountain pen has black end pieces and the ballpoint and mechanical pencil have black pieces under the cones. The tops of all three pieces have the engraved initials "OTH"
Nib FINE 18k nib. There are a few small spots on the trim nearest the nib where the gold plating has flaked off.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, and with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny and impressive pen and pencil set. The flat tops of all three pieces have the engraved initials "OTH" (see photo below). The fountain pen has light scratching on the barrel and light to moderate scratching on the cap. The barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip. The cap band and clip have moderate microscratching. The ballpoint pen body is excellent. The clip, twist top, cone, and rings have moderate microscratching. The mechanical pencil body is excellent with just some small surface marks near the twist top. The clip, twist top, cone, and rings have light microscratching. The imprints on all pieces are clear.
