Filling System Takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed.
Color Black with gold plated trim. It has pairs of bands around the nib collar, the end of the barrel, and near the cap lip. The cap lip pair has one narrow band and one 1/8" band. The cap has no emblem in it and a simple etched arrow design in the clip. This is the Mark 1 Black version.
Nib Fine 18k nib is marked 18K and 750 on the sides of the arrow. The feed has an 21 on it, but that is not a recognized Duofold nib code.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. This is a large sized, shiny, handsome pen. The cap and barrel have light scratching with posting lines on the end piece of the barrel. The flat top of the cap has some wear around the edges of the embedded circle. The trim at the end of the barrel has light scratching. The remainder of the trim and the clip are lovely. The imprints are clear.
