Filling System Takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A Parker piston converter is installed.
Color Black with gold plated trim. It has pairs of bands around the nib collar, the end of the barrel, and near the cap lip. The cap lip pair has one narrow band and one 1/8" band. The cap has no emblem on it and a simple etched arrow design in the clip. This is the Mark 1 Black version.
Nib EXTRA-FINE 18k nib is marked 18K and 750. The feed has an X on it to verify that it is a extra-fine nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny pen in a classic design. The cap and barrel have light microscratching. The cap has some long, thin scratches. The cap bands have light microscratching. The two gold bands at the end of the barrel have moderate microscratching. The clip has light microscratching. The clip band has some small dots of plating wear. The imprints are clear.
