Color "Amber Check" body with gold plated trim. The barrel is a checkered pattern of browns. It has black end pieces, two cap bands, and a gold Duofold "Ace" logo on the cap end.

Condition Near mint condition, in box, and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a highly shiny and polished pen with checkers that have beautiful brown hues, from caramel to black, and with some pearlescence in the lighter colors. The cap, barrel and end pieces are scratch free. The double cap band and the clip band have light microscratching. The clip looks great. The imprints are clear.
