Color Red (orange) permanite with gold plated trim and black end pieces. The cap band is the pair of narrow bands introduced in the late 1920s.
Nib Fine Parker Duofold nib. Firm and smooth.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks. The black cap piece is very slightly faded but still appears black. The clip has plating wear and dots of pitting. There is a 5/8" long fairly deep scratch on the cap running from the uppermost cap band towards the top of the cap. There is also a tiny crack in the cap lip - it's only about 1/8" long and doesn't seem to extend beyond the cap bands. There is plating wear and some brassing on the edges of the cap bands. The cap finial has a lot of bite marks around the grooved edge. The barrel has light to moderate scratching, with some small marks. The blind cap looks good. The barrel imprint is easily legible. The pen is fully restored and working well.
