Product Name Duofold Lucky 8 Limited Edition. This was released in 2008 in China, specifically on August 8, 2008 (or 08.08.08), where the number 8 is an auspicious number, representing luck and prosperity. The Parker Pen Company was born in 1888, so this release marked the 120th anniversary of the company. "Luck" also recalls the historic "Lucky Curve" innovation from Parker, which greatly reduced the leaking that was typical in very early fountain pens.

Condition Superior condition, in box with paperwork. The pen has been inked. There are some small scratches (perhaps turning marks) on the cap lip (we've included a closeup detail of this area in the photos). The rest of the pen has slight microscratching visible under magnification. The trim all looks fantastic, with a few polishing marks; no brassing or plating wear.
The pen ships in a large black lacquered box. There are some slight scratches. Inside the box is a platform with the pen and a bottle of "Lucky 8" Parker Quink ink in black. Underneath the platform is a booklet with certificate of authenticity. The box is protected in a padded sleeve, and all of this is contained in a cardboard Parker box. There is some sun fading on the cardboard box, but the rest of the packaging and materials looks great.
