Type Vintage fountain pen in excellent working condition
Product Name Parker Duofold Quality "DQ" pen.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- Circa 1924. (1924 is the only year the DQ imprint was formally found on barrels.)
Length 4-9/16", this was the shorter Lady size DQ before they added Junior and Senior sizes to the line.
Filling System The fountain pen is a button filler. It has been restored with a new sac.
Color Solid black ebonite pen with grouped lines pattern. It has a gold raised 1/8" cap band.
Nib Fine 14k nib. It is smooth and firm. No line variation. It is a Parker Lucky Curve #2 nib with a P imprint and a Lucky Curve feed.
Condition Excellent condition. There are no cracks and it has a strong imprint. The patterning is clear. There is light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. There are bite marks in the blind cap and near the ring top of the cap. The cap band has moderate scratching. The blind cap is slightly faded, but fits flush against the barrel. The pen has been fully restored and is working well.
