Type Vintage button filler fountain pen.
Product Name Duofold NS
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in England -- 1946 - 48. There's no date code, but the button filler was changed to aluminum in 1948.
Length 5-1/4 inches long.
Filling System Button-filler. We've replaced the bladder, tested it and it's working well.
Color Dark brown with gold plated trim and a brown cap jewel. 1/8" wide cap band with a lined triangles pattern (which looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\).
Nib BROAD open nib is marked Parker Duofold 14k Pen N. We believe that the N indicates that the nib was made in Newhaven, England.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, nice-sized pen in a good color. The brown color is consistent and dark throughout. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap band has scratching and plating wear along the lower edge. The clip has plating wear on the edges. The top jewel is good with a few light tool marks on the tassie. The imprints are clear.
