Product Description
Type Fountain pen with aerometric filing system.
Product Name Demi Duofold .... these are fat pens, certainly as fat as the senior model, but shorter.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in England -- 1954 (The nib has a date code of 4 with three dots and the English Duofolds adopted aerometric systems in 1953).
Length 5 inches.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler like that of the later Parker 51s and the Parker 21s. We've cleaned and tested it and it's working very well.
Color Black cap and barrel with gold plated trim. Thin size cap band with a chevron pattern (it looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\). It has a black cap jewel that matches the rest of the pen.
Nib  MEDIUM 14k nib is marked 15. The 15 indicates that it's a nib that goes on a Duofold Demi. It's smooth and springy with great tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. It has handwear and some scratches around the imprint but the imprint is still easily read. The trim has very little plating wear. The clip does not not make good contact with the cap. No cracks, chips, or dents. It's working very well.
