Product Name Duofold AF, for aluminum filler.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in England -- 1948 - 53. There's no date code, but those are the years that the aluminum button-fillers were made.
Length 5-1/4 inches long.
Filling System Button-filler (aluminum). We've restored and tested it and it's working well. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Light brown (with olive tones, this might be the color called Terracotta Brown) with gold plated trim and a matching cap jewel. 1/8" wide cap band with a lined triangles pattern (which looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\). Serial number 784404 on the clip ring.
Nib MEDIUM open nib is marked Parker Duofold 14k Pen N. We believe that the N indicates that the nib was made in Newhaven, England.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a light brown (with olive tones) pen that is shiny and uniquely colored. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and from posting as well as moderate scratching. The cap has moderate scratching. The cap band has plating wear and some brassing as well. The clip has plating wear along the arrow edges and otherwise it looks nice. The clip ring has plating wear along the edges of the ridges and is in good shape otherwise. It has a serial number: 784404. The top brown jewel has a slightly shaved spot and some small scratches. The imprint is scratched but legible.
