Product Description
Type Fountain pen with aerometric filing system.
Product Name Senior Duofold (The barrel does not say Senior because the imprint has been polished off, but we are confident it's the senior based on size, and it has a #35 senior nib).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in England - 1950s (Parker UK introduced the Aerometic filler in 1953, and discontinued the Senior size in 1958).
Length 5-9/16 inches.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler like that of the later Parker 51s and the Parker 21s. We've cleaned and tested it and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim. Thin size cap band with a lined triangles pattern (it looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\).
Nib FINE 14k open nib is marked 35. A little wider than a typical fine, but we aren't willing to call it a medium. It's fairly firm and smooth with great tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition. There are a few small scratches on the cap and barrel. There's some brassing on the high points of the clip and tassie-ring, as well as a bit of brassing on the cap band. No cracks or chips, dings, or dents, or personalization. The imprint is almost completely worn down. The pen looks very clean and nice. It's working very well.
