Product Name Duofold Vacumatic, aka Junior "Duovac".
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1942 (the date code "2" with two dots on the barrel and nib are very clear).
Length 5-3/16".
Filling System Vacumatic filler with the plastic plunger. We've restored the filling system and it's working perfectly.
Color Blue Stripe (alternating with dark translucent stripes) body and cap, with gold plated trim, two thin cap bands, and a black cap jewel.
Nib FINE gold Parker Pen nib is smooth with great tipping material. The feed has an "A" mark.
Condition Very Nice condition. The cap and barrel look good, with light to moderate scratching. The clip is missing most of its plating. The clip ring has a lot of plating loss, and some dots of pitting. The cap jewel looks great. The cap bands have brassing along the edges. The section is smooth, but has some grey discoloration. The barrel has some marks from the cap lip, but otherwise looks nice; the barrel clarity is excellent. The blind cap has some moderate scratching. No cracks or chips, or personalization. The imprint is worn a bit, but still readable. The pen is fully restored and working very well.
