Product Description
Type Button filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Lady Duofold with clip. We usually see these fat band Lady Duofolds with a ring top, but this one has a clip, so we're not sure if it was an official model (the clips are easy to install).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in U.S.A. -- 1920s
Length 4-9/16"
Filling System Button filler. We have fully restored and tested the filling system, it's working very well.
Color Red (orange permanite) body and cap with gold plated trim and a single 1/2-inch wide cap band which is raised. The barrel is slightly darker than the cap, but we think they are both made of permanite, as we can't raise the hard rubber smell by rubbing the cap.
Nib FINE Parker Duofold Pen nib. There is a "P" imprinted on the nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a short, classically designed pen in a bright and shiny color. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching with more scratches near the end of the barrel. The cap has light scratching with scratch below the clip. The black top piece of the cap has lots of tiny bite marks. The wide gold band has one blotch of plating wear on the lower edge. The clip has plating wear and pitting on the ball end and at the very top of the clip. Otherwise, there is just light microscratching. The imprint is clear.
