Condition Excellent + condition, with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a lovely, elegant, pen with classic styling. The black hard rubber is consistently black with very little fading. The gold overlay is in lovely, shiny condition. There are rings of brassing around the top edge of the cap, as well as the cap lip. There are scattered small touches of brassing on the remainder of the filigree, but for the most part it looks quite good. There is a bit of roughness to the inner edge of the cap lip, which has produced light scratching on the section as well as the end of the barrel from capping and posting. The imprints are clear.
