Manufacturer and Year Parker, England or France -- late 1950s or early 1960s. It lacks the Slimfold barrel imprint, and it has a French hallmark (eagle) on the nib, so it might have been made in France.
Length This is the Slimfold size -- about 4-15/16 inches.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler like the later Parker 51s and the Parker 21s. Tested and working well. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Black cap, barrel, and section with matching cap jewel. It has gold plated trim including a thin "chevron" style cap band in a pattern like this: ////\\\\////\\\\
Nib Fine 18k nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, slim, velvety black, shiny pen. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip as well as moderate to some heavy scratching (bite marks) near the end of the barrel. The cap has moderate to heavy scratching. The cap band has moderate microscratching but even so, the chevron pattern is intact. The clip has a bit of plating wear on the tips of the arrow end. The cap ring has some small scratches along the top edge, plating wear along the ridges, and slight brassing. The top black jewel has microscratches and one small, deep scratch mark. There are no imprints.
