Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nicely weighted pen in a classical design with has all its little squares intact. The squares do show areas of tarnish/patina, giving it a bit of character. The cap and barrel have microscratching. The barrel has dots of tarnish on the end piece. The silver cap band also has some dots of tarnish along the upper and lower edges. The thin gold cap band is perfect. The trim ring at the front of the section has areas of plating loss. The clip and clip ring look beautiful and just have a few microscratches. The top black jewel is perfect. The imprints and hallmarks are clear.
