Color This gold and browns mottled finish was called "Chinese Laque Ambre." The trim is 23k gold plated. We've heard that this is one of the hardest to find finishes, and was only available in the first series of Sonnets. The design contains some Chinese characters which are written on the cap. Hand painted, no two are alike.
Condition New old stock condition. We inspected the pen closely and could find no scratches or chips in the lovely lacquer finish. There are a few signs of storage on the gold plated trim.
