Color Hand painted Chinese lacquer. This gold and dark brown speckled finish was called "Vision Fonce." The trim is 23k gold plated.
Nib Stub 18k nib. The nib has a feed labeled S.
Condition Excellent condition, in original box, with paperwork and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classic fountain and ballpoint pen set that is shiny and in a beautiful Chinese laque color pattern. The fountain pen cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The cap band and clip have light to moderate microscratching. The ballpoint pen is excellent with just some light scratching on the Chinese lacque material. The cone has plating wear along the top edge and moderate microscratching. The cap band, clip, and clip ring have light microscratching. The top jewel is excellent. Imprints on both pieces are clear.
