Product Name Vacumatic Debutante.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- 1947 (The date code is a clear 7 with two dots).
Length 4-11/16" Debutante size
Filling System Vacumatic filling system, restored here at Peyton Street Pens. This is the late plastic plunger version.
Color Black with gold plated trim. 1/8" wide plain cap band. It has a black cap jewel.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14k nib. It is smooth and has good tipping.
Condition Excellent condition. There are a few small marks on the cap caused by the ball of the clip. Clip shows brassing and plating wear on the edges, especially on the opening. The barrel and blind cap look perfect with just a bit of handwear, though you can feel the transition from barrel to blind cap. The plastic plunger has zero discoloration and the barrel transparency is excellent. The imprint is clear, though a bit odd - it almost looks like it went hrough the imprinting process twice, as there is a fainter second imprint visible. The pen is fully restored and working well.
