Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior -- the Junior is more or less the same size as the Major, however it has two thin cap rings and a "split arrow" clip as opposed to the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1942 (The imprint on the barrel is a clear 3 with three dots, and there's a 2 imprint on the nib).
Length 5".
Filling System Standard style plastic plunger Vacumatic filling system. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly.
Color Golden Pearl brown striped finish with gold plated trim and a black cap jewel. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip.
Nib FINE gold arrow style Parker USA nib. It's smooth and firm; the feed has an A on the back, indicating it was meant to write small even numbers in an accountant's ledger.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap has light scratching. The clip has plating wear along the sides, and some touches of brassing. The cap bands have light scratching and some touches of brassing. The barrel has light surface scratching, and the transparency is fantastic. The imprint is clear. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
