Filling System Vacumatic filling system with plastic plunger. We have fully restored the system, and will guarantee it for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Windowed Black Body with stripes that are only visible at certain angles and lighting. Gold plated trim and a black jewel on the cap. The bottom of the cap has two thin cap rings and there is no blue diamond on the clip, characteristic of the "junior" Vacumatics.
Nib Medium gold nib is unmarked, but we judge it to be medium. It's fairly firm, with good tipping.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The clip has light plating wear, especially along the sides. The clip ring and tassie have some plating wear and also a few tiny dents. The cap jewel has some surface marks, but no cracks or chips. The cap bands have some scratching and light touches of brassing. The barrel has light scratching, and really great clarity. No cracks, chips, or personalization. The imprint is quite sharp and legible.
