Product Name Parker Vacumatic Junior. The difference between a Major and a Junior is the trim, otherwise they are the same size.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in Canada -- 1950 (the date code on both the nib and barrel is 50).
Length 5-1/16".
Filling System Vacumatic plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is working well. This has the late plastic plunger system.
Color Burgundy pearl body and cap with gold plated trim. It has alternating solid burgundy and translucent amber bands. The cap has a black cap jewel and a pair of narrow cap bands.
Nib FINE 14k nib, with just a bit of flex. It's not much, but you'll get a bit of line variation. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. This is a dark, shiny pen, with excellent barrel transparency and in a very attractive color. It has mainly light scratching but there are quite a few shallow bite marks on the blind cap. The section looks nice. The cap looks good. The cap bands and clip look nice. The top jewel is perfect. The imprints are clear.
