Product Name Parker Vacumatic Major. This has the wide cap band associated with the Major, but a "split arrow" clip associated with the Junior. We guess they did things differently in Canada!
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Canada -- possibly 1945 (The date code is a 5 turned on its side, but it is very worn and hard to read).

Filling System Vacumatic plastic plunger filler is in working condition. We restored the filling system and it works quite well.
Color Laminated Burgundy Pearl body with a gold cap band and black jewel cap. Gold plated clip and trim.
Nib Fine 14k gold nib made in Canada.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classically-designed pen in a beautiful color with wonderful barrel transparency. The cap and barrel have light scratching. The cap band has some little pin prick marks on it. The clip has plating wear near the end piece, along its left side. The black top jewel looks great, with some dots of pitting around the edges of the gold trim. The imprints are faded but can be made out with magnification.
