Product Name Parker Vacumatic Maxima. The Maxima is the largest Vacumatic model, with a fatter barrel and cap and a bigger nib.
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA - 1941 (The imprint on the barrel is a clear 1 with no dots, and the nib also has the 1941 date.)
Length 5-7/16 inches (Maxima size).
Filling System Vacumatic aluminum speedline filler is in working condition. The filling system has been restored by us with a new diaphragm, and it has been tested.
Color Laminated Azure Blue barrel and cap with ambered transparent horizontal lines; 3/16" gold "Jeweler's Band" cap band with horizontal rings around it; black jewels on both ends. Blue diamond clip.
Nib 14k extra fine gold nib. The feed is marked A on the back, which indicates an accounting nib. It's smooth and firm for writing all the tiny numbers on the page.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, or personalization. This is a large pen in a beautiful, vibrant color, with excellent barrel transparency. The cap and barrel have light scratching. The cap band has some brassing along both top and bottom edges. The clip has some brassing along the sides, and the blue diamond is fully intact. The jewels look perfect. The imprints are clear.
