Product Description
Type | Vintage mechanical pencil working well |
Product Name | Parker Vacumatic Demi Pencil. This is an unusual version with a medium wide plain cap band. This band is apparently found on the early second generation fountain pens with the newly introduced Speedline filling system .... as depicted in the wonderful Vacumatic book on page 134. |
Manufacturer and Year | Parker - USA - 1937 |
Length | 4-3/4" |
Filling System | This pencil takes 0.9mm ("thin") leads, and uses the traditional twist-method for extending the lead. |
Color | Grey striated body and cap, with a black cap jewel, and what looks like chrome plated trim. Thick plain cap band. Split Arrow clip. |
Pertsonalization | None. |
Condition |
Very nice condition, with some small scratches and scuffs on the barrel, the largest of which is pictured below. The trim is a bit worn all over, with some very minor brassing on the tip of the cone and the edges of the clip. Also, the clip rests a tiny ways from touching the cap, so it doesn't clip very tightly. The pencil is working well. |
