Nib Medium 14k nib (probably a medium-fine by modern standards). It has a date code of.47. (like the pen barrel), which is from 1937.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen, with excellent amber barrel transparency. The barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip and otherwise light scratching. There is a patch of more moderate scratching around the .47. date code. The cap has mainly light scratching. There are a few long, thin scratch lines and some small deep scratches here and there. The cap band has microscratching; the pattern is nicely intact. The clip and clip ring look good with just a few tiny dots of pitting on the ring. The striped jewel on top of the cap has a few small scratch marks. The striped jewel at the end of the barrel looks great. The imprints are clear.
