Filling System The fountain pen is a piston filler that works well. The ballpoint takes Parker style ballpoint refills. A working blue Parker refill is installed.
Color The Shanghai model is characterized by a transparent red resin with two stripes of yellow. The fountain pen is fully made of the resin while the ballpoint pen has a black barrel. You can easily see the filling systems through the resin. They have black end pieces and gold plated trim.
Nib 18k 2-tone medium nib where the silver color is rhodium. The nib has a smidge of give but writes firmly. It is labeled M.
Condition Near mint condition with no signs of usage. The ballpoint pen looks perfect and the fountain pen has just a single light scratch on the clip. The trim on both have no plating wear.
