Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany. This style of M400 was made between 1982 and 1997, and the "Germany" imprint dates it after 1992.

Filling System Piston filling system. We have tested it and it's working very well.
Color Green and black stripes on the barrel with black cap and piston knob. Gold plated trim. The derby cap is black with the Pelikan logo engraved and filled in green.
Nib FINE 14k nib. Smooth and with great tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The barrel has light scratching and handwear. The cap looks great, with just light scratching. The clip looks good, no brassing or scratching. The Pelikan icon on top of the cap looks good, and retains nearly all of the green paint. The imprints are clear.
