Type Fountain pen, collectors edition which is very hard to find
Product Name M800 Collectors Edition. This was the first special edition produced by Pelikan, and though it is not marked it was only produced in a quantity of 3000. Here's a great article on this model.
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany - 1992. You'll find this model with both "Germany" and "W Germany" markings. You can differentiate from this hard-to-find collectors edition and the re-issue in 2023 by the bands at the cap lip and on the piston knob - this one has the older style two separate bands at the cap lip and piston knob, where the 2023 version has a matte gold band between the two polished gold bands.

Filling System Piston filling system. Tested and working well.
Color Green, transparent. Gold plated trim. A real classic.
Nib MEDIUM 18k 2-tone nib. It's a bit soft, and quite smooth feeling.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap and barrel look great, with mostly light microscratching on the external surfaces. No ink staining. There are light scratch marks on the barrel from capping. The clip and derby have microscratching. The disc on the piston knob has plating wear and some bubbling around the edge. The cap bands have light scratching. We tested the pen and it's working well. Ships in a Pelikan box with outer cardboard box, which is not original to this pen.
