Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany - 2001. This pen is marked "Germany"
Length 5-1/2 inches.
Filling System Differential Piston-filling system. Tested and working well.
Color The barrel is engraved on a sleeve of solid 925 silver with 24k gold overlay. Cap and end pieces are marbled dark green. The top of the cap has the Pelikan logo.
Nib Medium 18k gold nib embellished with platinum.
Condition Near mint condition, in original wood box. Trace amounts of handwear and polishing marks, but overall very clean and shiny. The pen ahs been inked. No cracks, or notable scratches. This is a large, heavy, and beautifully engraved pen. Tested and working well. The imprints are clear. There is some patina on the vermeil work that you can see in the photos, but we have lightly polished away some of it. The wood box is in good shape, with scattered marks and scuffs.
Note: in the closeup photo of the serial number, there appear to be marks in the metal surface. It was patina, which we have polished away post photography.
