Product Name Toledo M910 (The 910 has palladium plating over the sterling instead of gold, whereas the 900 is vermeil, or yellow gold over sterling.)
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany -- 1992-1999. This is the old style, with the top emblem outlined in black. (The later M910 had the emblem outlined in silver.)
Length 5-1/2 inches
Filling System Piston filling system. Tested and working well.
Color Black with sterling silver binde, and trim. It has a transparent smoke grey viewing section.
Nib 18k 2-tone broad nib which has been given a cursive italic grind. See writing sample. Smooth and fairly firm.
Condition Excellent + in Box. There is microscratching on the black portions. The sterling binde has tiny scratches when examined under magnification, but no dings or dents. Faint ink residue on the piston and in the viewing window. The finish is even and the imprints are very sharp.
This pen is shipped in a Pelikan Toledo box, with outer cardboard box, which is original to this pen. The Toledo booklet references the 3E/96 imprint toward the end of the barrel.
