Color The motif "Chang Eh Flying to the Moon", commemorating an ancient Chinese legend of the origins of the evening Moon Festival is engraved on a sleeve of solid 925 silver with 24k gold overlay. The cap and barrel endpieces are an ivory white. The section is two-part, the top part, ivory-white and the bottom part, black. The pen has a long gold cliip. The top of the cap has the Pelikan logo.
Nib Medium 18k Gold nib accentuated with rhodium decor.
Condition Mint, new condition and never inked, in black lacquer box with a moon design on the top and with a plaque indicating Limited Edition 434/568 on the edge of the box. The box includes certificate of authenticity and a booklet that fully documents the story behind the pen motif. The lacquer box comes inside a brown cloth bag. Also includes original outer Pelikan boxes and packaging. This is a very heavy, impressive, unique pen that is in original condition. No cracks, chips, dents, dings or scratches. The imprints are clear.
